Henry Breidenthal, a native of Senecaville, Guernsey Co., Ohio., Corporal and then Sergeant of Co. A. of the 3rd Regiment of Ohio Volunteer Infantry. In 1907, Breidenthal published his memoir of the battle of Rich Mountain (The National Tribune, Aug. 8, 1907).
