Avery, Jack P. (Jack Parrish)
Avery was born in 1901 in St. Louis, Mo. After his discharge from the U.S. Army during World War II, he was employed as a machinist at General Dynamics for over 25 years. He was a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, Lodge 776, Fort Worth, Tex. The majority of the materials in his collection reflect his involvement with the Democratic Party in Tarrant County and civic affairs in Fort Worth.
