Odeon Club (Jacksonville, Ill.)
Men's social organization formed in Jacksonville, Ill. in January 1868 with its "object being the mental, moral and aesthetic culture of its members" and also "the building up of a public library." Charles Eames, who owned a book store in Jacksonville and later became editor of that city's Daily and Weekly Journal, was secretary of the group.
