Yale College (1718-1887). Linonian Society
Variant namesThe Linonian Society was founded at Yale in 1753. Membership was open to all undergraduates. The society provided students with a forum to debate, stage plays, and deliver poems, essays, and orations. The society disbanded in 1868.
