Elkinton, J. Russell
J. Russell Elkinton (1910-2002), MD, 1937, Harvard Medical School, created the Chemical Section at the University of Pennsylvania Department of Medicine as a research center for blood chemistry and kidney diseases. Elkinton's research focused on body fluids, electrolyte physiology, blood chemistry, and kidney diseases.
