Edwards, Haden H., 1813-1865.
Edwards was a Captain during the Texas Revolution, represented Nacogdoches in the First Congress of the Republic of Texas and later in the Texas Legislature. As a merchant and one of the leading developers of East Texas, he developed large land grant holdings into one of the largest Texas land operations and also founded a railroad.
