Broadcaster. Bowden is a Sydney-based ABC radio presenter who has worked in the Radio National Social History Unit and on the Coming Out Show. In 1994-95 she was involved in a joint project between the station's Rural Department and the National Library's Oral History Unit, in recording a series of interviews with women in rural Australia. The interviews were later broadcast by the ABC and transcripts published as "Women of the land: stories of Australian rural women".
