New Mexico. Governor (1919-1920 : Larrazolo)
Larrazolo was born in Allende, Chihuahua, Mexico, on December 7, 1859, the son of Donaciana and Octaviano Larrazolo. He came to the U.S. under the sponsorship of Bishop J.B. Salpointe of Arizona, and attended St. Michael's College in Santa Fe from 1875-1876. A Republican, Larrazolo was appointed clerk of the U.S. district courts in El Paso, Texas, and subsequently elected to that position in 1886 and 1888. He was admitted to the bar in 1888, and moved to Las Vegas, New Mexico in January, 1895. Larrazolo served as Governor of New Mexico from 1919-1920, and as one of New Mexico's U.S. senators from 1928 until his death on April 7, 1930. He was married to Maria Garcia and had seven children.

Octaviano A. Larrazolo was born in Allende, Chihuahua, Mexico in 1859. He attended St. Michael's college, Santa Fe (1875-1876). He moved to Las Vegas, New Mexico in 1895. He served as Governor of New Mexico (1919- 1920).
