The Office of the Corporate Controller (called Office of the Controller and/or Comptroller as early as 1930) keeps the general books and other financial records of The Pennsylvania State University. The office is responsible for receiving and disbursing all cash and maintaining appropriate accounting records for these transactions. These functions have persisted through numerous changes in organizational structures and titles.
