Code (Radcliffe, A.B., 1918), was a Red Cross volunteer in Boston during World War I, married writer and critic, Grant Code, held editorial, secretarial, and singing jobs, and went to India seeking intellectual and spiritual satisfaction after the death of her only son, and on the request of Swami Yatiswarananda, whose lectures she had attended and helped edit in Philadelphia. She died in India.
