De Salles Carroll, Francis, 1882?-1953.

Francis de Salles Carroll's origins are some what a mystery as he was always telling eleborate stories about his past. In 1912, at age 30, Carroll married Sibyl Augusta Lambard Baldwin, age 70, widow of Senator Henry Baldwin. While the couple traveled in Italy, Carroll met Gaetano Felice "Felix" Marchetti. It was later discovered by his wife that the two men were lovers and she divorced Carroll.
