Clarence E. Mason, Jr. was born in Charlotte, NC on November 12, 1904. After receiving his B.A. from Wheaton College in 1924, he enrolled in the first class of the Evangelical Theological College, now Dallas Theological Seminary. He completed his Th.M. in 1927, and received a Doctor of Divinity degree from Wheaton in 1940. Mason was an authority on the Scofield Reference Bible, and served on the committee which revised and updated the Bible to produce the 1967 edition. His publication includes Dispensationalism Made Simple, Prophetic Problem with Alternate Solutions and Love Song, etc.
