Loomis, Arthur P., 1859-1930.
Arthur Loomis was a lifelong resident of Ionia County, Michigan and long active in Republican Party politics. He served as private secretary of Governor John T. Rich, 1893-1896. From 1904-1910, Loomis was secretary to Governor Fred M. Warner. From its inception in 1910 until his death in 1930, Loomis was an enthusiastic member of the Perry Monument Centennial Committee.
