Nunnally, Nancy

Nancy Nunnally was a professor of education at the University of Cincinnati. She was a native of Minnesota, and graduated from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis with two bachelor's degrees. She received a Master's degree from Columbia University, and her doctorate in education at Indiana University, Bloomington. Her professional memberships included the Association for Childhood Education and the Association for Childhood Education International. From 1962 until 1964, she was state president of the Ohio Association for Childhood Education. She contributed articles to Kindergarten Bulletin and Childhood Education . She belonged to three honorary organizations: Phi Delta Gamma, Pi Lambda Theta, and Kappa Delta Pi, and she was the advisor for the Zeta Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi at the University of Cincinnati. After her retirement from UC in 1974, she volunteered at the Shriner's Burn Institute, Children's Hospital Medical Center, Clovernook Home and School for the Blind and Cary Cottage. She passed away in 1988 at the age of 83.
