Radmann, Francille

Hide Profile

Francille Radmann was a job search trainer for the Texas Employment Commission (TEC) between 1971 and 1999. In this state-funded position she taught people basic job search and interviewing skills. When the TEC was reformed into the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) in 1996, many employees were concerned with the outcome of the transition, and what it would mean for state employee benefits and jobs. During and after the transition, Radmann was involved in state workers rights issues, and held membership in the Texas State Employees Union for the Communication Workers of America. She also lobbied against Texas state legislation that would decrease benefits for state workers and would allow the privatization of jobs currently held by state workers.
