Organized in 1960 and chartered as Upper East Tenn. Counseling and Guidance Assoc. Goals were to promote effective guidance and counseling in East Tenn.; affiliated with state and national organizations; changed name to Watauga Personnel and Guidance Assoc. in 1967.
