Dorothy C. KramschusterTompkins (1923- ), a nurse in the U.S. Army Nurses Corps during World War II serving from June 1945 until August 1946, has lived in Elmhurst (Illinois), Fort Lauderdale (Florida), and more recently in Lake Mills (Wisconsin). Since her WWII service, Tompkins has become a member of the American Legion as well as the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
