Browne, Jesse B., d. 1864.
Browne, a Kentucky native, was Edwards County, Illinois clerk (1818-1821, 1823-1831), served in the Black Hawk War, and then in the regular army. He settled in Iowa where he served in both the territorial and the state legislatures.
