Zendt family
George N. Zendt (1877-1941) was the first president of the People's National Bank of Souderton, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. His wife M. Eva Zendt (1878-1957), was a teacher, member of Zwingli Evangelical and Reformed Church, and a founding member of the Souderton-Telford Woman's Club. The couple had four children, including Harvey B. Zendt and the Rev. A. Randal Zendt (1902-1976). Rev. Zendt, a minister of the Reformed Church in the United States, earned citations from the New York State Council of Churches and the New York State Department of Mental Hygiene for his 14 years as chaplain of the Brooklyn State Hospital in New York.
