Woman's Club (Richmond, Va.)
Founded in 1894 by fourteen leading women of Richmond, Va., the Woman's Club was designed to enhance the cultural and intellectual lives of its members. Over the years, the club has annually attracted prominent authors, scholars, artists, and performers to Richmond to present programs on literary criticism and current events, along with presentations of music and drama.
