International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Asbestos Workers. Local 57 (Sioux City, Iowa)
Local 57 was organized in 1934. Members worked for a number of companies, including Johns-Manville, Midwest Insulation, Brum Company, Johnson Company, Maralf Company, and Vinatieu Plumbing and Heating. The Local covered workers in South Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa. The Building and Construction Trades Council was created in 1950.
