Levine, Maita Faye, 1930-

Maita Levine was a professor of Mathematics at the University of Cincinnati between 1963 and 2001. She was a leader in faculty governance on campus holding the position of the president of UC's chapter of the American Association of University Professors (AAUP). She was also involved in the AAUP on a regional and national scale, serving as the president of the Ohio conference of the AAUP, the first vice president of the National AAUP, and chair of the National AAUP's Committee W on Women's Issues. She passed away in August of 2008.
