Mary M. Bourgeois (Sept. 25, 1884-June 15, 1974) was the daughter of Mary L. (1852-1944) and Louis P. Bourgeois (1849-1920). Mary M. and her sisters, Amelia, Anna L., and Julia L. attended Central State Normal School. Mary M. became a nurse and serve in the Red Cross during World War I. Amelia taught school and was a librarian. Anna taught in Detroit (Mich.). Julia may have taught for a few years before she died in 1919. (For further information see the finding aid.).
