Lake Superior and Southwestern Railway Company.
The company acquired valuable waterfront real estate along St. Louis Bay, a grain elevator, and miscellaneous docks and trackage. In 1888 the company's properties were all purchased by the Eastern Railway Company of Minnesota, a Great Northern subsidiary, and the company was dissolved.
