Mary (May) Bryant Cheever, Radcliffe Class of 1941, worked as a research analyst in military intelligence and then as assistant to the editors at Little, Brown and Co. until her marriage to Daniel Cheever. An active Radcliffe alumna, she was named Distinguished Daughter of Pennsylvania for civic leadership in 1980.
