Felix Louis Vidal (b. 1912, Madison, S.D.-d. July 16, 1983), U.S. Air Force officer, graduated from West Point in 1933 and received his pilot wings the following year. After several assignments in the U.S. and Panama, in 1943 he became commander, 72nd Fighter Wing. He later served as commander, 306th Fighter Wing, and commander, 325th Fighter Group, 15th Air Force, in the Mediterranean Theater of Operations. He resigned his commission in 1946, and in 1947 was commissioned in the Reserve. In 1955 he returned to active duty and was appointed deputy commander for Reserve affairs, Continental Air Command. General Vidal assumed command of the 2nd Air Force Reserve Region in 1960 and retired in 1963.
