Boosey & Hawkes Inc.
Around 1939 Boosey and Hawkes had apparently taken over from Universal Edition some or all of the rights to works by Gustav Mahler; Alma Mahler had been compelled to signed an agreement with the firm at that time. Ralph Hawkes was the owner and Sylvia Goldstein an employee of the company.
