W.J. Lane Company (Fargo, N.D.)

William J. Lane founded the W.J. Lane Company in 1902 at Fargo, N.D. The firm handled real estate loans, sales and insurance. After Lane's death in 1931 the firm was continued by Harry R. Arneson, Sr. until his death in 1973. In 1972 the firm's name was changed to Arneson Company. After World War II Harry R. Arneson, Jr. began working for the firm which also appears to have operated Harry Arneson, Jr. and Associates, an appraisal business. Harry Jr. became president after his father's death and the business continued until his death in 1997.
