The responsibilities of the Curriculum Committee are to review all requests for changes in both undergraduate and professional curricula or catalog listings, to add new courses, and to make recommendations to the University Senate. In addition, they are to act jointly with the Graduate School when courses at the 500 level are under consideration, and to attempt to eliminate duplication of subject matter between courses and to discourage the unnecessary proliferation of courses.
