Ragsdale, Clifford (Mrs.)
Miss Raiford Moncrief, daughter of Stephen Price Mooncrief, married Clifford Newton Ragsdale, son of Isaac Newton Ragsdale, in 1920. They had one daughter, Raiford Moncrief Ragsdale, in 1924. Mrs. Ragsdale was active in politics and society. During World War II she joined the American Red Cross serving as Volunteer Deputy Director Community Services to Camps and Hospitals. In the later 1940's Mrs. Ragsdale was a member of the Woman's Division of the Democratic Party Organization. Later she was elected from the 8th Ward to the Atlanta Board of Education, where she served until 1962.
