Tinsley, William, 1804-1885
Variant namesA native of Ireland, Tinsley worked as an architect. After coming to America in 1851 and settling in Cincinnati, Tinsley designed buildings for Rockwell, Kenyon, and Wabash Colleges, and for Ohio Wesleyan, Butler, and the University of Wisconsin. Tinsley's brother, Thomas, also an architect, remained in Ireland.
