Lambda Chi Alpha. Epsilon Iota Chapter (University of Nevada, Reno).
Kappa Lambda was a local fraternity founded at the University of Nevada on October 1, 1921. In 1928, Kappa Lambda submitted a petition for charter to the national fraternity Lambda Chi Alpha, and the Nevada Epsilon Iota chapter was established on the Nevada campus in 1929. The Crescents, the women students' auxiliary to the Epsilon Iota Chapter of Lambda Chi Alpha, was established in the 1960s but was disbanded due to insurance coverage concerns.
