The Iowa Citizens' League for Nursing (ICLN), a constituent part of the National League for Nursing, has one main goal: "to assist in meeting the health needs of the people." To that end they have actively participated in community planning and action for health care, provided educational opportunities for health care givers, and promoted a greater appreciation of nursing as a profession.
The ICLN has also maintained a cooperative relationship with the Iowa Association for Nursing Students, supported a scholarship program, and granted complimentary memberships to nursing students.
