Denna Frank Fleming was born in Paris, Ill., Mar. 25, 1893, and died Sept. 3, 1980, in Nashville, Tenn. He was a political scientist, a professor at Vanderbilt University from 1928 to 1961, and a columnist for the Nashville Tennessean newspaper. From 1939 to 1947, he also presented a series of weekly radio programs concerning international relations and World War II, broadcast by Nashville's WSM.
