Boyd, Guy, 1923-1988.
Guy Boyd commenced his artistic career as a potter, establishing the Guy Boyd Pottery in 1953. He sold the business in 1964 to concentrate on his career as a sculptor, which he pursued until his untimely death in 1988. Phyllis Boyd was a feminist with strongly held views on the role of women as homemakers.
