Faulconer, James Gayle, 1928-
Variant namesBorn in Jackson, Mississippi, in 1928, Faulconer moved to Kentucky with his family in 1937. He graduated from Lexington Theological Seminary in 1953 and served in several churches and mental health facilities in Ohio. Faulconer spent two weeks in Canton, Mississippi, in 1964 as a Freedom Summer volunteer where he helped with voter registration efforts.
