First Parish Church (Falmouth, Me.)
Variant namesThird Parish Church of Falmouth organized in present day Town of Falmouth (originally also known as New Casco) in 1754; in 1828 some members of the church wanted to form a new parish and name of Third Parish Church was changed to First Parish Church, or First Congregational Society in 1830 and the Second Parish Church of Falmouth was organized; from 1830-1935 the churches were ministered separately but after 1935 to 1943 the ministers were shared; in 1944 the two again united and renamed Falmouth Congregational Church.
