Warner, Phebe Kerrick, 1866-1935.
Came to Claude, Texas, in 1898 and married Dr. William A. Warner, pioneer Armstrong County physician. Was responsible for organizing the First County Federation of Women's Clubs in America, in January, 1902, for rural women as well as encouraging curb markets. Worked with the Rural Co- Operation Committee, Home Extension Service Program, and wrote editorials and county life features.
