Biography
Following graduate studies in Food Distribution at Michigan State University, Paul Fairbrook (b. 1923) became Director of Auxiliary Services at the University of the Pacific, Stockton (1965). His involvment with public service led him to a four-year term as Commissioner of the Port of Stockton (1973-1977). In the course of Fairbrook's term in office an ILWU strike took place at the Port (1976).
