Bowersock Opera House (Lawrence, Kan.)
The Bowersock Opera House opened in Lawrence, Kansas on February 1912. It was built by Lawrence industrialist Justin DeWitt Bowersock on the site where the Liberty Hall theatre operated in downtown Lawrence in the 1880s. Liberty Hall was destroyed by fire in 1911.
