Bradley Family

Alfred E. Bradley was born on November 25, 1864 in Jamestown, New York. In 1887, he married Letitia May Follett and in 1888 he Bradley was appointed an assistant surgeon in the army. He served at Fort Sully, South Dakota (1892-1893); Fort Custer, Montana (1894-1895); Fort Yellowstone, Wyoming (1895-1898); and the U. S. Army 1st Division Hospital in Manila, Philippines (1910-1913), New York, and San Francisco. In 1917, the first World War started and Bradley was appointed Chief Surgeon of the American Expeditionary Forces in France. Shortly into his tour, Bradley fell very ill from influenza from which he later died from on December 22, 1922.

Letitia May Follett was born in 1867 in Indiana. She worked as a teacher and a secretary before marrying Alfred. She died in 1946. They had two children - a daughter, Harriett and a son, Follett.
