George Bleidt was the postmaster and funeral director for the city of Golden Pond, Kentucky. He discusses how the Tennessee Valley Authority was founded and how it affected the life of the people along the Cumberland and Tennessee Valleys. He describes the positive and negative effects of the Tennessee Valley Authority and how the people of the region received the plan of a wildlife refuge in what is now known as the Land Between the Lakes.
