Wand, Patricia A.

Patricia Wand served as University Librarian at American University from 1989 through 2006. Prior to that, she held library positions at the University of Oregon, Columbia University, the College of Staten Island (CUNY), and Wittenberg University (Ohio). Ms. Wand served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Colombia from1963 through 1965. She earned a B.A. in history from Seattle University, an M.A.T. in social sciences from Antioch Graduate School, and the A.M.L.S. from the University of Michigan. Ms. Wand has received many honors and awards including the Distinguished Service Award from the District of Columbia Library Association and a Fulbright Senior Lecture Award to Ecuador.
