The Miami Lutheran Refugee Service (M.L.R.S.) was formed in 1963 under the auspices of the National Lutheran Council and the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod's joint agency, Lutheran Immigration Service, to aid Cuban refugees in Miami, Florida. The program was discontinued in 1966.
