Samuel Partridge (1792-1858) came to Potsdam, New York in 1817 with his wife Abigail (Ladd) Partridge. He was a merchant and a trustee of St. Lawrence Academy and on the board of directors of the Potsdam and Watertown Railroad. He had one son and nine daughters.
