Nancy Grey Osterud, feminist activist, grew up in Seattle, Washington, and graduated from Radcliffe College (A.B. 1971.) She was a member of the women's collective Bread and Roses in Cambridge, Mass., Harvard-Radcliffe Students for a Democratic Society (SDS), a founding member of women's liberation groups in Seattle, Wash., and Berkeley, Calif., and as a graduate student, a member of the Socialist Feminist Caucus of Women of Brown United.
