Antonio Heras (1882-1964) was a Spanish educator, novelist, and poet. He taught Spanish and Spanish Literature at USC from 1925-1950, was the chair of the Spanish Department, and retired as an Emeritus Professor. After retiring, he also taught at UC Berkeley and Scripps College. He was a prolific writer whose books and articles were primarily published in Spain, although his wife Evelyn served as his English translator.
