Bettelheim, Judith, 1944-
Variant namesRalph W. Bettelheim was born on December 26, 1907, in Germany.
He immigrated to the United States in the 1930s. Between 1935 and 1936 he was closely associated with the Committee on Fair Play trying to organize a boycott of the 1936 Olympic Games in Germany.
From 1943 to 1945 he was economic advisor to the Commanding General, Office of General Purchasing at Supreme Headquarters. Later Ralph Bettelheim became head of the Asia Desk at the New York State Department of Commerce.
Ralph Bettelheim died in 1993.
