Audiometer testing was conducted by the Atlanta Public School System. The testing of individuals took place in the schools and the results are included. The program for the hearing impaired was administered by Belle R. McConnelle of the Atlanta Public Schools. Her correspondence provides information on education in the Atlanta area for the hearing impaired. Mrs. McConnell's interest stems from her own deafness. She began teaching in 1905 and retired September 1, 1950.
