Herbert Park Philpot, solicitor, and Mrs G.W. Philpot were members of the ANZAC Fellowship of Women. The ANZAC Fellowship of Women was founded on 25 April, 1921 to promote the comradeship of women who were engaged in war work during the Great War, to foster the spirit and traditions of Anzac Day, and to have regard for the welfare of the soldiers and their bereaved, among other objectives.
